Good Questions
Questions, answered
The things everyone asks, in one place. Anything else — the concierge in the corner knows the weekend inside out, or just ask us.
What does “cocktail attire on a hillside” actually mean?
Suits without obligation of ties; dresses you can stand on grass in. Block heels or flats over stilettos — the lawn is beautiful and entirely real. April evenings cool off, so bring a layer.
Can I bring my children?
We love them, and we've gone grown-ups-only for the Saturday — with one exception for babes in arms. Friday's welcome supper is all ages. We can share local babysitting contacts; ask the concierge or us.
Is there a shuttle?
Yes — between Fano old town and the villa on Friday evening and all day Saturday. Times will appear here and on the day-of page once final.
What about gifts?
Your being in Italy is the gift. If you'd like to do more, there'll be a small honeymoon fund — details on the registry page nearer the time.
I have a dietary requirement.
Tell us in your RSVP — the villa's kitchen handles everything from coeliac to vegan with genuine grace, not a sad risotto.
Will the speeches be in English?
Yes — with the odd Italian flourish we will absolutely mispronounce.
