Check-in & wander

The villa and cottages open mid-afternoon. Drop your bags, find the pool, claim a deckchair.

Welcome reception

Drinks by the pool from the villa's Ape bar — a three-wheeled van of negronis. Come as you are; travel clothes entirely acceptable.

Casual

Welcome dinner

Trattoria-style long tables, food from the villa's own organic garden, coffee and limoncello to finish. Runs late; leave whenever.

Breakfast, the Italian way

Cappuccino e cornetto in the courtyard until ten. No rush — the ceremony is hours away.

Downtime

Freshen up, swim, mingle. The pool fridge is stocked and free all day.

Light lunch

A proper snack before the evening — by the pool or to take away to a quiet corner of the gardens.

Ceremony beneath the oaks

On the lawn, sea on the horizon. Phones away — we've hired a wonderful photographer so you don't have to be one.

Reception in the gardens

Drinks and a generous buffet while we're stolen away for photographs.

Dinner in the Orangerie

Vaulted glass, citrus trees, and the good wine.

The cake

Cut, toasted, and inhaled.

The afterparty

Cocktails and dancing until 1am. Midnight focaccia for those who make it.

Slow breakfast

Until half ten — drift down as your constitution allows.

Recovery lunch by the pool

Hair of the dog optional. Available to take away to a deckchair.

Afternoon at leisure

Pool, naps, or out exploring — we can help arrange sightseeing or a winery tour if a plan sounds appealing.

Last-night dinner

Final toasts, coffee and limoncello, and everyone's best stories from Saturday.

One last long breakfast

Until eleven, in the courtyard, weather permitting. No one rushes off.

Checkout & slow goodbyes

Rooms back by eleven. Or carry on — you're already in Italy, and Urbino is right there.
